CEAT I Full-Time Position Open Immediately
Creative & Expressive Arts Therapies Dept (CEAT)

Western Psychiatric Institute & Clinic (WPIC)
University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC)

An exciting CEAT I FT position in Pittsburgh, PA is available immediately! This 40-hr position will likely be split between UPMC McKeesport BHU (2 days) and WPIC (3 days). Ability to work a steady weekend day is expected (Sat or Sun). A Masters' Degree in one of the creative arts therapies fields is required, with 1-2 years running groups expected. Experience in an acute inpatient psychiatric setting is strongly preferred.

This is a unique opportunity to utilize relationship-based care in a (primarily) short term medical setting. Salary commensurate with experience; health care benefits excellent.

Dancers, DMT students, or therapists needed to volunteer at the HMS school:

HMS School’s dance/movement therapist, dance teacher and choreographer Rachel Federman-Morales is looking for dancers and/or dance/movement therapists to volunteer their time for wheel chair dance class. We learn body warm-ups, cool downs and most importantly choreograph dances for performance. Please let me know if you are interested for the school year 2009-2010.
